software engineer

i work on google's internal package manager, midas, where i work on production-critical infrastructure that is responsible for serving every binary used company-wide.

in particular, i have experience in working on low-level distributed systems and managing large amounts of data. my work on the team has been focused on improving our reliability and improving the developer experience for ai/ml engineers.

as an engineer on the team, i work cross-functiionally with engineers from across the company to make sure that their needs are met, serve as 24/7 shifts as an oncall engineer, and analyze analytics and metrics to ensure our service's health.

summer 2023

i worked on the google cloud storage (gcs) metadata team in seattle, washington where i worked on two new pieces of internal tooling.

the first was a fsck check that verified certian properties for 10's of trillions of database rows daily. the seccond project i worked on was developing a tool that allows (internal) engineers to view how gcs object metadata changed over time.

i loved the opportunity to work on planetary scale storage infrastructure!
